😍HIT like if you have eaten something which you didn’t like, because you believed it would aid fat loss?🤢
🌎THERE IS NO FOOD ON THE PLANET THAT WILL MAKE YOU BURN FAT FASTER.
👨🏻🔬What I mean by this is, from a biological perspective, you can’t eat anything that will enter your body and burn faster as a calorie than anything else. There is ZERO evidence of this.
🍇Acai Berries – HONESTLY DO ONE!
🍵Green tea – LEAVE IT OUT!
🌶Chillies/Peppers/Spice – OF COURSE IT DOES!
🤦🏻♂️Christ, there are loads, aren’t there. I get at least half a dozen spam emails a week trying to sell them to me, and I don’t want any of you to buy them for that reason.
🤓So, I am going to pick out peppers to use as an example, because, when you eat them, they do behave slightly differently in the body. With certain peppers, you have large amounts of something called capsaicin. What this can do is temporarily increase blood circulation, which can then have an EFFECT on metabolic rate.
💊It’s this tiny weeny process that the “bad side” of the dieting industry latches onto and then spins as a miracle fat loss cure. They take the extract, stick it in a tablet and then sell it – and it’s wrong!
🔥The effect on metabolism is so minor that you won’t even feel it or notice it.
😫I have met so many people drinking green tea whilst holding their nose. Shoting an insanely chemically sweetened acai drink and feeling ill afterwards. Adding heaps of spice to their meals and sweating through each and every bite. ALL BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT IT MADE THEM BURN FAT.
👌If you like spices, then have them because of that, they also contain loads of essential minerals. Green tea is refreshing and has some great antioxidants in it. Acai Berries….mmm, well I won’t comment on them, lol.

My spring platter. My hand is full this days. I am doing some spring decoration going on and my house is more greener than ever. I bought some indoor plants to get rid of pollution inside the house. I did lots of reading and research I don’t think I have a green thumb so I am praying all of them will survive 😂😂. 🌱✨SPRING EQUINOX AND TRANSFORMATION✨🌱 ⚡️Low energy, brain fog, memory loss, stress, anxiety, depression- these are all things I never expected to feel when I got the exciting news four years ago, as the first wildflowers were blooming in Southern California, that I was carrying a little seedling in my belly, our sweet Calliandra. Moja ulubiona zielona zupa na szybko 💚
Bulion warzywny około 2l (zostawiam jedną marchew, kawałek selera i pietruszki do zmiksowania)
Ziemniaki 3-4 sztuki
Imbir około 4cm
Czosnek 3 ząbki
Mleko kokosowe pół puszki
Sól, pieprz, chilli .
Bulion gotuję na dużej ilości warzyw z suszonymi grzybami, suszoną śliwką, anyżem, goździkami, zielem angielskim, liściem laurowym, więc sam w sobie jest już aromatyczny. Na patelni podsmażam imbir z czosnkiem i dodaję go do bulionu razem z pokrojonymi w kostkę ziemniakami i startą ma tarce jedną cukinią. Drugą cukinie również startą na tarce wrzucam na patelnię, na której dusiłam czosnek i imbir i podsmażam krótko. Zupę gotuję, do momentu aż ziemniakami będą miękkie. Następnie całość miksuję, dodaję mleko kokosowe, doprawiam do smaku. Zupę podaję udekorowaną łyżką podduszonej cukinii i z prażonymi migdałami (na ogół), bo dziś jak widać w zestawie slonecznik 💚
Niech brak jakiegoś składnika będzie wyzwanie, a nie powodem dla którego rezygnujesz z danego przepisu 😉

I alluded in a previous post that if you’re not the biggest fan of standard oatmeal that sometimes thinking outside the box with ingredients can help you still enjoy the same nutrient benefit. This is a great example of what I mean. These blueberry pecan muffins are vegan, gluten-free and oil free. This is a way of enjoying some oats in a baked way. They are moist, soft, sweet and still pack a nutrition punch. Drizzled a simple cashew yogurt based sauce over top and 👌🏽👌🏽
Blueberry Pecan Muffins
2 cups gluten free rolled oats
1/2 cup pecans
1/4 cup coconut sugar (can use brown sugar)
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 mashed ripe bananas
1 flax egg (1 tbsp ground flax + 3 tbsp water mixed together and set aside)
2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup unsweetened plant milk (I used soy milk)
1 cup frozen blueberries 🌱
Set oven to 350F. Place oats, pecans, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon in a food processor and process into a course flour. Dump contents into a medium mixing bowl and add in mashed banana, flax egg, and soy milk, then mix together to make a batter. Fold in blueberries gently to prevent them from bleeding into the batter too much, then scoop batter into a nonstick muffin tin (feel free to grease muffin tin if it is not non-stick or line with cupcake liners). Fill muffin cups 3/4 of the way to the top (they will rise) and place in oven for 25 minutes. To check if fully cooked, stick a toothpick in one of the muffins and make sure it comes out clean. Remove from oven and allow to completely cool. ❤️
To make yogurt sauce, mix 2 tbsp plant based yogurt (I used @foragerproject plain cashew yogurt) with 1 tsp maple syrup, pinch of cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Whisk together to evenly incorporate. You can use this sauce over your muffin if desired. I recommend drizzling a little of this sauce over top right before you plan to eat them. You can store the remainder in the fridge to use whenever your muffin cravings peak. 😏

Food isn't complicated.
Boil some potatoes.
Also boil some eggs. Turn off heat and cover for 6 minutes. Ice bath when done.
Smoosh soft potatoes in a pan covered in ghee or butter over medium high. While waiting for crispy goodness, toss whatever greens, herbs and seeds or nuts you have on hand into the blender or processor with some garlic, lemon and salt. I used dandelion greens, dill and pepitas. Blitz.
Strain potatoes, top with delicious green sauce and don't skimp out or you'll regret it!
Peel and slice your egg.
Eat it outside so it blends in with the greenery.
Oh, don't forget the chili flakes. I like em on most things. .
I'm starting a 12 day Spring cleanse tomorrow under the guidance of an Ayurvedic practitioner, but kinda started today. I'll probably be sharing more recipes as these seasonal limitations spark my creativity.

For this I sauteed kale, roasted sweet potatoes with a little cinnamon and then added apple, avocado, beets, artichoke hearts, hempseed and tuna. Protein packed to keep me full through the afternoon.
And to top it off, I made 3 of these so I have lunch made throughout the week!
This is exactly how simple my lunch looks every day. How would you prep for this? I would cook the sausage and sweet potatoes at the beginning of the week and portion everything out the night before. Easy and tasty! .
