Rejoice even through your struggles.
Rejoice and He shall strengthen you and like a deer you'll be able to climb mountains and your feet shall not slip, stumble or fall.
Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.
The Sovereign Lord is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to tread on the heights.
When we rejoice in times of lack and struggles we are saying to the devil that even though he has temporarily scarred us, he still hasn't broken us. Declare at such times that your God is mighty, that no situation is above Him and His ability to turn things around. He is a promise keeper and a faithful God. If He said That He will never leave you nor forsake you, believe it for so shall it be done. #Provider#Rejoice#Redeemer#strenght#lack#struggle
This #easter be reminded that our #redeemer lives!!!!! You can face tomorrow no matter the circumstances or situations you may be facing!! Put your #hope in Christ the living God. Life is worth the living because he lives!!!!
Jesus Died for This Moment
I have been #crucified with #Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)
When the alarm went off at 4:59 this morning, I had a split-second thought of the utter realness of dying and standing before an utterly holy God with nothing to commend me but my own life.
The #horror of it was only surpassed by the flash of reality: Jesus Christ died for this moment.
Then it was gone.
My immediate sense was: This is the #essence of what happens whenever someone is #converted. This is how Jesus Christ is discovered to be real. This is how a person comes to cherish the love of Christ. Suddenly, for the first time, they see and feel with the eyes of their heart the undeniable reality of having to meet God with a #guilty#conscience.
The #impact of that #vision is #devastating. It causes them to know that their only hope is a #Mediator. Standing alone, with nothing to commend them but their own #sinful#life , they are utterly #lost. If there is any hope for eternity in the presence of this God, we will need a #Redeemer , a #Substitute , a #Savior.
At this point of #terrible#crisis , nothing shines forth but the gospel of Jesus Christ, “who loved me and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20). In the split second before he was there, I was granted to see the all-engulfing darkness and horror of the judgment — not a theological inference, not a merely rational conclusion, not a mere thought, but a glimpse with the inward eye full of knowing and feeling and certainty.
Our God is a #consuming#fire. He will not look upon evil. We are utterly lost. My guilt was so #huge , so #real , so #unquestioned in that split second that there is not even the remotest possibility of making excuses. It was sudden and all-enveloping and infinitely hopeless.
In this instant Jesus is all that matters. O Christ! O Christ! Can my heart contain the wave of gratitude?! O Gift of God, my desperate and only Need!

Y'all.....I got this private message today....wow!!!BLESSED me!!! I asked permission from this sweet soul to post this. I was super privileged to get to know this lady a few years back as God was wooing her to him and she accepted Jesus. I am so grateful we have kept in touch through social media and blessed at how this movie is touching so many lives! I continue to pray for lives to be reconciled to our Father through this movie and so much more! Praying and staying in the word is the best thing I can do for myself. It teaches me who I am, who I want to be like and the power that has been given to me through Jesus. If you ever think for a second the stuff I post is just my own thoughts, think again. My heavenly Father has shown me so much about how much of a mess I am without Him. I don't want to live another day without my Dad. He is the creator of heaven and earth and yet His thoughts towards me are more than the grains of sand on the seashore. Soooo...Let’s talk about #Anxiety - since it seems to be the most consistent struggle and prayer request I hear lately more than any other...
To me, a resourceful Bible verse that addresses anxiety comes from Philippians 4, where Paul writes, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God" (Phil. 4:6). -
This verse gives Christians a powerful and direct command to cast our worries on God, though for someone with debilitating anxiety, it's not always that easy. Exasperated by directives to "just pray," when we can barely stop our own thoughts to pray in the first place during tough times can be quite challenging. -
Thankfully, the verses that follow promise something much bigger and better than "just pray." And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you (Phil. 4: 7-9).
I love to read this passage in times of extreme anxiety. I pray it helps bring you some comfort too. -
