I remember reminiscing last March, on the previous year and thanking God sooo much for my success in NM.
Next month, I’ll have yet another year under my belt, and I feel crazy confident in my ability to build an empire from my cell phone.
In my first business, I grew a tribe of 105 girls • in 3 different countries • and all over the US in 13 months. ♥️
Today I logged into my cloud and saw that we are currently at a new tribe of 55 babes in twenty different states; & that is only going for 3 1/2 months. 🔥 🙌🏼 God has HUGE plans for us in 2018, we are sure of it. Babes building empires and showing each other how it is done.
It is time to stop with the skeptics, that’s such old news.
Avon is 130+ years old grandfathering this whole gig and people are still looking for reps.
Google it 🤷🏻♀️ The future has arrived.
The opportunity is seriously right. here.
You were born to be a world changer and make an impact in this world.
You just have to believe in yourself 👑
There is a neighbor on the HOA board with a personal vendetta against our house, the friendly, happy, neighborly kids house. The security guards keep having to relay messages from the HOA board, the most recent of which was enforcing a rule to have fully alive flowers, with tidy, matching pots and that I am not allowed to put cheerful signs on the door.
I came home the other day to a new planter, beautiful flowers, a bag of potting soil and three cheerful HOA appropriate garden decorations on the front porch. Two the security guards decided "enough was enough' and decided to protest peacefully by giving me lovely gardening tools to fight back with a tidy, yet still cheerful, front yard. What a cool surprise!
A week ago I spoke about living justly in your circle of influence, and this is a perfect example. These security gaurds and I don't have the power to come against the system and change the laws, although we discussed it. But they had the power to make a peaceful statemen. They went above and beyond their jobs by helping me succeed in this area (tidiness) that isn't my strength against this extremely minimal amount of injustice (although that is debatable). They might have responded to their holy discontent in a small way, but they realized they still had a way to influence the outcome.
And through their actions, I felt very loved, cared for and seen. Even if every week of the next year I get written up for some HOA violation, that is okay, because I know I am not alone.
And that is what living justly is all about, folks. It is literally embodying loving your neighbor. And when we love our neighbor, we care about them when they are hurting. And we also care about them when they are being treated injustly. If we can, we say "this injustice isn't okay." Then when we aren't listened to, we can at least stand in solidarity and be beautiful and bright.
Now I need to figure out where personal vendetta HOA board neighbor lives, not to egg her house, but to pay it forward, undeserved. I want to shower her with flowers too! #LiveJustly#Actjustly#loveothers
Ran into this today. Me and the boy a few years back.
If you want to surround yourself with a supportive, loving tribe, BE a supportive loving person.
If you go into every new relationship looking for what you can sell to them or what you can get from them, don't be surprised when others do the same to you. #begoodtopeople#loveyourneighbor#dogoodthings#kindnessmatters
After 2.5 years of working at The Venues (5 years attending-since opening day!💛), today was my last Sunday officially as a Venues Staff member and it couldn’t have been a better “last Sunday”😭🙌🏻💛 So many hugs, “thank you’s”, lots of laughter, and of course some dancing💓If you know me, you know my Venues family means the absolute world to me and I owe so much to the beautiful people and culture of The Venues. They have truly changed my life and I am so honored to be a part of this church family. They have carried me through all the hard stuff over the years, laughed and rejoiced with me in the good times, served alongside me, and taught me so much about what loving God and people looks like. I am forever thankful for all the love, laughter, tears, work and friendship over the years and I’m so excited for the future of continuing to serve and love our community together💛
I’ll still be coordinating Breakfast Venue for our homeless friends every Friday which I am so thankful to continue🙏🏻❤️ and of course will continue to attend and volunteer at The Venues for like EVER & EVER😉 The Venues is my home and I can’t express enough how much each of you mean to me. God is so good!!!💛💛
Soooo someone save me a seat next Sunday? I’m ATTENDING service again!!😂😘 #venuesfamily#churchfamily#thevenues#springfieldmo#417land#sgf#417life#sundayfunday#celebrate#loveyourneighbor#commUNITY
“Love your neighbor as yourself.” Lev. 19:18
In a way, we are the world’s Bible. Our love for one another will prove to the world that we are followers of Christ (John 13:35). Sadly, many of us fall short in this.
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi often carried a Bible around and would quote from his favorite “Sermon on the Mount”. When Gandhi met with the missionary E. Stanley Jones, they had this conversation: "Mr. Gandhi, though you quote the words of Christ often, why is that you appear to so adamantly reject becoming his follower?" Gandhi answered, "Oh, I don't reject Christ. I love Christ. It's just that so many of you Christians are so unlike Christ. If Christians would really live according to the teachings of Christ, as found in the Bible, all of India would be Christian today.” What a stinging indictment of the Christians he met and had experience with! If Gandhi met you and me today, would he say the same? That we are so unlike Christ?
Dear Jesus, please help me to be more like You! Help me to love others the way You loved. Give me the grace to obey You and be Your disciple.
Today we were downtown with ShowerUp. We always hook up to fire hydrants and it’s usually green and the bushes are full. But today I noticed something and walked around to the other side. Tents. Somebody’s home. Behind the bushes, not to be seen. Blankets wet from all the rain hanging up to hopefully dry. On the other side 100 feet away, are luxury apartments buildings. Same world, two very different realities. #loveyourneighbor
The world would truly be a better place if we threw love around like it was confetti. It’s so much easier to be focused inward, but we must look outside ourselves and love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:39).
We must shine a light in the darkness and treat others as we want to be treated. Because the world is broken and crying out. We need more Jesus and less of us. ⠀⠀
Today is our 8 year anniversary and Patrick surprised me with a bunch of little things, but this sign is my favorite. It doesn’t matter where you are from, you are welcome here. #loveyourneighbor#whosyourneighbor ? #everyone
