So, the weekend was all beach and rock and roll; looking good, being brash and breaking stereotypes🎉🔥👠👑👙 Here's the Monday after the weekend:
5.10am - BrainPower Mind Gym exercises🤓👩🎓 6am - WOD 🏋️♀️ 7.15am - cook dad's birthday dinner 🥘🎂 8.15 am - shower, change, sign notes, make school lunches, start the hustle.
This is balanced living. This is living a life I don't need a holiday from 😍
My first Seville orange marmalade making in progress ( well, just boiled oranges whole so far) ... I am aiming for rustic, old fashioned, chunky & dark marmalade my dad likes because this is for him (what a lovely daughter am I 😬?). Wish me luck.
SO, I got Olympic on Feb, the 16th.
Thanks to all who watched me race, and for the messages, that day was tough.
I feel THANKFUL for the opportunity to race at the Olympics, for the things that I got right that day; on the other hand - sorry for the things I didnt succeed in for that slalom race; sorry for the tribute to my dad which could have been a better one - but in the end I realise that I had tried my best that day and everything was like it had to be.
It is a fantastic feel to compete at my first Olympics and to have a result, even knowing I could do better.
NEXT race - 24.02↗️
