📝In this post I am highlighting a few unique variations for back training that I like.
🍊Your back is what creates your entire upper body shape. It’s the foundation for everything you do. The key to back training is hitting these muscles at different angles, hence the landmine row variations. You should already be spending much more time rowing than pressing, so try some of these different movements.
🍒The first two exercises are one arm landmine rows. These are good for the hitting the lats. The third is a cross body pulldown that taxes the posterior delts and upper to mid back. These are just a few ideas of movements that I have found work well for me. This means I can “feel” them and they are joint friendly for me.

COMPOUND. There are many compound workout. Bent over barbell rows uses multiple muscles predominantly traps, back, shoulders, and biceps. One of my favorite compound workout. Go try it! Leg shoulder with apart, bend at the waist, pull the bar up to upper abdomen and squeeze that back. I am a firm believer in all things booty, lol and my favorites are booty bands! I just so happen to think that @ado_fitness By @mishkadawn Bands are phenomenal and the best I’ve ever purchased. 👌🏼👌🏼
When it comes to activating glutes and working on the booty, so many people struggle with not being able to active their glutes when working out...with or without bands. It is VERY common, DESPITE the heavy loads some are able to work with. Often I get asked often why use them, what do they do that’s so different, and how to incorporate them.
Here’s my reasoning:
—They help build that mind-muscle connection to your glutes that can be hard to connect with, which is very crucial to muscle growth
—They teach you to push through your heels, out through your knees while squatting, which forces you to use proper form by adding proper pressure to knees
—They will activate and strengthen the glutes, hammies and hips
—They force stabilization through engaging hip abductors and external rotators -They put the booty under constant tension🔥🔥, causing those muscles to fatigue much faster.
-They help get you a LIFTED round booty, strengthen your inner thighs and build a stronger base *
There is no better way to help with gluteal ACTIVATION and to add to the stability requirements of your muscle groups!
👉🏻It’s a really great way to target muscle groups that often are left and can remain under-stimulated by conventional exercises.👈🏻🍑🔥👌🏼
So it was booty day for me! Every Tuesday I do butt, and as I’ve said before, you need to activate your glutes before starting to get into your actual workout! I swear even doing this will make your butt bigger because the whole point of activators is to feel the burn in whatever body part your trying to activate, it makes sense, right? Haha, so for my activation I do:
Crab walks x 40
Clams x 20
Donkey kicks x 15
👉 I repeated these exercises for two rounds total!

Harness the light to help you blast open. Sit with the dark parts and move towards the light with deep intention. Unravel.
