Hi guys! 🙋🏻♀️ First of all thank you so much for all the well wishes and sweet messages, they really mean so much to me!! So sorry for having been absent from IG and YouTube this week, but unfortunately it looks like my broken ankle will require surgery, the cast was just not going to fix the problem. I am scheduled to have surgery tomorrow so I will probably be out of commission for a while longer but I’ll try to have my partial 25k giveaway sometimes next week, unfortunately I can’t put together a TN at this time but as soon as I am well enough I will have a separate giveaway for it!

When I start feeling down...especially about my #brokenankle ... i focus on what I've been able to do these past 9 weeks which has been to increase my flexibility. I've always been flexible but my injury has helped to work more on that and my core which was much needed. Bright side #102.#dowhatyoucan

Ain’t this the truth for someone relearning how to walk after being on crutches and non weight bearing for 3+ months. Oh the startling sensations, the swelling, the tightness, the tenderness, the discoloring, the bruising, the pain, and the stiffness that continues for what the doc says 6+ months more. Whew. Well I will push through all that to get outside, enjoy nature, fill my lungs with fresh air, warm my face in the sun, numb my feet in the snow, exercise my heart walking up hill, and fill my body with happiness. Nature is my therapy. That’s the truth, but I’ll continue to do the exercises the PT gave me bc what kind of therapist would I be if I can’t even participate in my own home program?!
