It felt like the apocalypse. Smoke from the fire had consumed the canyon walls while the sunset illuminated the air with deeper colors. We stood there with a crowd of people waiting for the smoke to give us a glimpse of what laid below and sure enough, it opened. I couldn’t believe my eyes.
Throwback to when I was 21 years old and I won a photography prize from The Canadian Association of Professional Image Creators with this photo. 💜
People have been telling me that I don't give myself credit enough. So here is the bragging post! 😝
I was offered a job as the official photographer of The National Theater ''Ruben Dario'' in my beautiful country (Nicaragua) when I was 16 years old.
I took photos of one of their shows and they offered me the job right the next day! 😁
When I was 17 years old, I was published in a photographers book called ''The Nicaraguans'' as the youngest photographer of my country.
I moved to MTL when I turned 18 years old to study Professional Photography at Dawson College and right after I graduated I was exhibited at the ''War of Art'' exhibit at the Rialto Theater.
I hope this wasn't so boring for you. 😅
Now I really want to know. I love hearing/reading other people's successes. What are YOU proud about?! ☝️
