During this week in 1963, Sinatra embarked on four days of studio sessions with Nelson Riddle in Los Angeles, where he recorded 11 songs for the album ‘The Concert Sinatra’. Due to Nelson's contract with #Capitolrecords , this was the first time his name could appear on #theRepriseRecords label. The 1963 album was recorded on Stage 7 at the @mgm_studios ’ owned Samuel Goldwyn Studio in order to capture the best possible sound. Nelson Riddle on the sessions: "I never saw #FrankSinatra so businesslike and concentrated as he was for The Concert Sinatra." 📸: Ted Allan/@repriserecords
